Weaving A Card with Cardstock.

This card was part of April's Card Class.
It's all woven strips of Cardstock, without glue.
The result is stunning and so much fun to make.


















Materials used:
159276 Basic White Cardstock 
102482 Real Red Cardstock
146986 Highland Heather Cardstock

Cut Basic White Cardstock at 8.5 x 5.5" and score at 4.25"
Make a cut with the Paper Trimmer on the long side at .25" a cut from .25 till 5.25", turn the paper and cut the same cut on the other side.
Fold the card and cut from the fold, free hand in the middle till a .25" from the edge.
Cut a similar cut between the .25" and the cut you just did free hand till .25" from the edge. Cut a similar cut on the other side, so you will have a total of 5 cuts. (2 cuts with he trimmer and 3 cuts free handed.
Have your colored Cardstock cut in strips of 5.5 x .75" and wave the paper true the Basic White Cardstock.
I didn't glue the strips, because it will be tight when they are all in.
