A Special Card Created For Anna and more....

I can't believe it's the last day of March today.

It's a time ago I have posted on my blog, and it's time to show you what I have done...

On March 7th I went to a demonstrators get together called "Spring STAMPede" in Warners Robins Georgia, what was organized by Sandra Hernandez. What a great event it was.

It was so wonderful to be together and share the love of Stampin' Up! I was trilled to know my friend Susan Burch from Savanna would be there too.

There were projects to make, and of course we swapped because we like to share.

This card here was one of the swaps Susan had, it was created by Wendy... is't it beautiful & unique?

I had to check it out and did some measurements, here are the details how it was made.

I did some research and found a card similar made by Vicki Bell and gave it my twist to it (Cased).

The measurements are totally different because this card is bigger and will not fit in a regular envelope. 

This card I created for Anna, Anna lives in The Netherlands and is moving to a new home with her family...  Getting a card from Auntie Carla from the US will be a surprise for her ;)

As you can tell, the measurements are a mix... some are in inches and others in centimeters.
the top part might be confusing.
The card base is 11 x 4 1/4".
Score this piece (on the scoring board, 11" on the top) 5 & 9.7 centimeters (cm) turn around and score the same measurements on the other side. This is your card base!
